8 Mar 2025
On a sunny spring Saturday Drumoghill welcomed the visitors to the moss knowing 3 points was a must.

Both teams started well and no clear chances really fell to either side. Until Drumoghill got a free kick in there own half on 32 mins. It was well played in to Dunlewey box were Eunan Kelly headed it across the box and Brendan Devine made no mistake making it 1 nil. It stayed that way to the interval.
Dunlewey came out fighting and faught hard looking for the equaliser but it was the home side that got the next goal.
Drumoghill caught the visitors on the break with a great run down the right from Paddy Gallagher and he crossed it low and hard with great accuracy, it was met by James Gillen at the back post with a tap in. It came on 57 mins and the next was always going to be important goal.
The next goal did come 5 mins later when again Eunan was left with a run with the defender we're he danced past him and drilled it past the keeper into the roof of the net 3 nil to Drumoghill.
Dunlewy battled well and nearly got there reward when a header from the forward hit the post but came out and was cleared to safety. The visitors pushed the last 15 mins hard on search of a goal but the home side defence held firm and got a clean sheet.
Great game of football from both sides. Great Team performance from everyone. Ref Thomas Ferry.
